<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Endometrial cancer is the most common cancer of the female reproductive organs. The purpose of the study was to summarize the available data on the role of angiogenic markers in the development, progression and prognosis of endometrial cancer. Material and methods. A literature search was conducted using Medline and Pubmed databases using the key words: “endometrial cancer”, “endometrial hyperplasia” and others. 56 publications were selected to write this review. Results. Currently, there is a variety of different data on the relationship between molecular markers of angiogenesis in endometrial cancer and the prognosis of endometrial cancer. The article summarizes the results of the most recent studies devoted to the study of angiogenic markers of endometrial cancer, as well as the characteristics of the microvasculature. We focused on the prognostic and diagnostic values of these morphological and molecular changes. particular attention was  paid  to  the  inactivation  of  the  oncosuppressive  protein  PTEN,  an  inhibitor  of  the  PI3K/Akt/mTOR-signaling pathway, which plays an important role in the pathogenesis and prognosis of endometrial cancer. Conclusion. Many of the markers of angiogenesis can be used to assess the development and prognosis of endometrial cancer. However, conflicting research results with respect to some markers require further study, their validation, and subsequent implementation into practice.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак эндометрия</kwd><kwd>железистая гиперплазия эндометрия</kwd><kwd>PTEN</kwd><kwd>патологическая неоваскуляризация</kwd><kwd>эндотелиальный сосудистый фактор роста</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>endometrial cancer</kwd><kwd>glandular hyperplasia of the endometrium</kwd><kwd>PTEN</kwd><kwd>pathological neovascularization</kwd><kwd>endothelial vascular growth factor</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Поисково-аналитическая работа по подготовке рукописи проведена в рамках финансирования по государственному заданию бюджетного учреждения «Постгеномные исследования фундаментальных основ патогенеза социально значимых заболеваний».
