Лечение местнораспространенных сарком мягких тканей (СМТ) прошло сложный и долгий путь эволюции – от ампутационной хирургии до сложнейших обширных органосохраняющих вмешательств, но независимо от выполняемого оперативного пособия проблема местных рецидивов остается столь же актуальной, как и 100 лет назад. Тактика наблюдения после проведенного лечения СМТ конечностей определяется в зависимости от индивидуальных рисков рецидивирования заболевания и должна быть основана на простых и эффективных методах диагностики. Разработка новых индивидуализированных подходов к наблюдению за больными после первичного лечения сарком мягких тканей конечностей необходима для раннего выявления местных рецидивов и улучшения общей выживаемости пациентов, что требует тесного сотрудничества клинических онкологов, хирургов, морфологов и специалистов лучевой диагностики.

Treatment of advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) has passed a difficult and long way of evolution from amputation surgery to complex limb-salvage interventions, but the problem of local recurrence is relevant today as 100 years ago. Tactics of monitoring after treatment of STS depends on the individual risk of recurrence and should be based on simple and effective diagnostic methods. Developing of new individualized approaches to patient follow up after primary treatment of STS is extremely necessary for early detection of local recurrence and improvement of overall survival, which requires close cooperation of clinical, morphological and radiology specialists.
