Siberian Journal of Oncology was founded in 1979 by Tomsk National Research Medical Center. The journal  is published bimonthly (6 issues annually).

Siberian Journal of Oncology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles, reviews, lectures, and case reports in the field of clinical and experimental oncology

Scope of the journal covers: carcinogenesis, molecular biology, pathology, epidemiology, prevention, diagnostic techniques, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, anesthesiology, medical and social rehabilitation, palliative care and life quality of cancer patients.

The journal is issued in Russian language but detailed summary to papers is presented in English. The leading Russian oncologists as well as scientists from the former Soviet Union countries submit their articles for publication in this journal.
